At 9.30 p.m.

Are you ready for a summer of cinema under the stars? Get ready to immerse yourself in a unique experience of open-air screenings by Cinemazero, thanks to the review "Cinewave: a wave of movie emotions in Grado Pineta"! One Friday evening a month (28 June, 19 July, 16 August and 13 September), the beach of Grado Pineta will light up with stories and adventures for young and old, with the background of the waves of the sea, at the "Costa del Sol" bathing establishment.

Our selection of films is designed to take you on exciting journeys, linked by the theme of "holidays": From the eccentric and colourful atmospheres of Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel", to the enchanted and magical world of "Luca", the animated film signed by Enrico Casarosa; the journey will then continue with "Ticket to Paradise" by Ol Parker, a romantic adventure that will take you to tropical paradises, and will end with "Mrs Harris Goes to Paris" by Anthony Fabian, a delightful comedy with a brilliant script and tasty humour.

A few info about today's film...

"Luca" is a story set in Liguria in 1959, which follows the adventures of Luca Paguro, a shy pre-adolescent sea monster, and his friend Alberto Scorfano. Luca lives with his underwater parents who urge him not to go near humans for fear they will catch him. However, when Luca meets Alberto, who lives on earth, an extraordinary friendship begins that introduces him to the world of humans. The two team up with Giulia, a local girl, to participate in the 'Portorosso Cup' and win a Vespa, but face hostility from Ercole Visconti, a local bully. During the race, Luca and Alberto's secrets are revealed, but in the end they find acceptance and friendship among humans. The film celebrates the importance of friendship, tolerance and the courage to be oneself, and offers a touching look at the adventures of growing up and the importance of accepting differences.

The event is free of charge but the number of headsets for multilingual viewing in Italian, German and English is limited (200 pieces) so to attend you must book online at Eventbrite, write to experience@grado.it or call +39 0431 80383.
