Are you ready for a summer of cinema under the stars? Get ready to immerse yourself in a unique experience of open-air screenings by Cinemazero, thanks to the review "Cinewave: a wave of movie emotions in Grado Pineta"! One Friday evening a month (28 June, 19 July, 16 August and 13 September), the beach of Grado Pineta will light up with stories and adventures for young and old, with the background of the waves of the sea, at the "Costa del Sol" bathing establishment.
Our selection of films is designed to take you on exciting journeys, linked by the theme of "holidays": From the eccentric and colourful atmospheres of Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel", to the ‘monstrous’ ones of ‘Hotel Transylvania’, the animated feature film by Genndy Tartakovsky; the journey will then continue with "Ticket to Paradise" by Ol Parker, a romantic adventure that will take you to tropical paradises, and will end with "Mrs Harris Goes to Paris" by Anthony Fabian, a delightful comedy with a brilliant script and tasty humour.
A few info about today's film...
Running time: 91 minutes; there will be no intermission. During the movie, it will still be possible to go to the beach bar, which will be open.
To celebrate the 118th birthday of his daughter Mavis, Dracula organised an exceptional party in his luxurious hotel, Hotel Transylvania, inviting old friends such as Frankenstein and the Werewolf, along with many other monsters and their families. Inside this impenetrable fortress, built by the count after a life-changing tragedy, all kinds of creatures, whether furry or gelatinous, huge or multi-headed, can enjoy a peaceful weekend away from the greatest threat: an encounter with a human being. However, when Jonathan, a young man of twenty-one, unexpectedly enters the hotel, Dracula, in order to prevent panic among his guests, is forced to disguise him as a monster and tries to send him away as soon as possible. Too bad Mavis feels an instant and reciprocated liking for him.
The event is free of charge but the number of headsets for multilingual viewing in Italian, German and English is limited (200 pieces) so to attend you must book online at Eventbrite, write to experience@grado.it or call +39 0431 80383.
Remember to come prepared for an evening under the stars: bring a beach towel to relax on the sand, a jumper, mosquito spray and above all, your passion for cinema!
In case of rain, the event will be postponed until the next day.
