A few info about today's film...

"The Grand Budapest Hotel" is a comedy-drama set in 1932, following the eccentric adventures of Monsieur Gustave H., the concierge of the homonymous hotel located in the mountains of Eastern Europe. When a wealthy hotel guest mysteriously dies and leaves Gustave a valuable painting as an inheritance, a series of extravagant events begins involving murder, intrigue and chases. Gustave, together with the young caretaker Zero Moustafa and the pastry-chef Agatha, finds himself embroiled in a whirlwind adventure to defend his inheritance and prove his innocence. The plot unfolds over several timelines, culminating in 1968, when an elderly Zero tells the story of the Grand Budapest Hotel's past splendour to a young writer. The film is a blend of surreal humour, distinctive visual style and unforgettable characters, exploring themes of friendship, love and the consequences of political and social change. Its production involved extensive historical research and attention to detail in the setting and cinematography, creating a unique and immersive cinematic experience.

The event is free of charge but the number of headsets for multilingual viewing in Italian, German and English is limited (200 pieces) so to attend you must book online at Eventbrite, write to experience@grado.it or call +39 0431 80383.

Remember to come prepared for an evening under the stars: bring a beach towel to relax on the sand, a jumper, mosquito spray and above all, your passion for cinema!

In case of rain, the event will be postponed until the next day.
