ALICE SINGS BATTIATO

ALICE SINGS BATTIATO

Concert starts at 21.30

Alice, Carla Bissi's stage name, is one of the best-known and best-loved Italian singer-songwriters. The song "Per Elisa", written together with Franco Battiato and violinist-composer Giusto Pio, with which she won the Sanremo Festival in 1981, became one of the national and international hit parades. The artistic partnership with Battiato has been an important part of Alice's musical and professional career, and she is now presenting her new live tour "Alice canta Battiato". In this journey she is accompanied on the piano by maestro Carlo Guaitoli, who has worked with Battiato for many years as a pianist and conductor. Alice manages to pay homage to the Sicilian artist with authenticity and elegance, both because she has been his friend and collaborator since the beginning, but above all because of the artistic affinity that has always linked them and that makes her a unique interpreter of Franco Battiato's music.
