It all begins with a voice. A voice that comes from afar... perhaps from the sky, perhaps from the conscience. A surreal and unexpected call that forces Alessandro Haber to start a countdown: one week to put his life, his memories and his desires in order before an inevitable appointment.

It is from this ironic, poetic and deeply human starting point that Volevo essere Marlon Brando (I wanted to be Marlon Brando) comes to life: an intense and overwhelming theatrical tale, halfway between confession and dream, in which Haber bares his soul, mixing reality and imagination, memories and visions, irony and melancholy.

On stage, in the actor's large dressing room crammed with objects and memories, there is an enigmatic and surprising female presence, perhaps an angel, perhaps a mirror, perhaps a conscience.
