Events and tours

Every day, except Mondays, from 1 June to 11 September 2022, experience the thrill of visiting Trieste or Lignano Sabbiadoro starting from Grado, crossing the Gulf of Trieste or the Lagoon of Grado and Marano, thanks to the maritime services run by TPL FVG and APT Gorizia. 

• GRADO - TRIESTE:

Departure from Grado (Molo Torpediniere) 10.00; 14.45; 19.30. Arrival in Trieste (Molo Audace) 11.30; 16.15; 21.00

Departure from Trieste (Molo Audace) for return 13.00; 17.45. Arrival in Grado (Molo Torpediniere) 14.30; 19.15

Tickets can be purchased on board the motorship and at all Core TPL FVG ticket offices. The single journey ticket can also be purchased from the TPL FVG app. If you have a FVG card you are entitled to a round trip (with a child under 12) to be made on the same day. It is possible to travel with your own bicycle in tow (no more than one bicycle per passenger) within the limits of available space and at the discretion of the captain. It is advisable to enquire in advance about the availability of the service, particularly during peak times and at weekends. To transport a bicycle you must purchase a special ticket; you can purchase tickets on board the motor vessel, and at all Core TPL FVG ticket offices. 

Once in Trieste, if you are on a bicycle, you can follow one of our bicycle routes: CULTURAL or NATURALISTIC.

Alternatively, you can go to the InfoPoint in Piazza Unità d'Italia and ask for information material on Trieste; you can book a guided tour (minimum 2 people) or you can use the convenient HopTour bus service to discover the city's places of interest and attractions. Audio guides synchronised with the route will provide you with information and curiosities. The tour starts from the Rive, at the Molo Audace, in front of Piazza Unità, and after reaching the San Giusto hill it reaches the wonderful Miramare Castle and Park. Discounts for FVG Card holders.

• GRADO - LIGNANO SABBIADORO

Departure from Grado (Molo Torpediniere) 10.00 a.m.; 7.30 p.m. Arrival in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Sbarco dei Pirati) 11.30 a.m.; 9.00 p.m.

Departure from Lignano Sabbiadoro (Sbarco dei Pirati) for return 17.45. Arrival in Grado (Molo Torpediniere) 19.15

Once you arrive in Lignano, if you are on a bicycle you can also make different tours towards Bibione or Marano Lagunare; for the most trained it is possible to return to Grado by bicycle --> here the GPX track.
