To celebrate 130 years of tourism, the GIT SPA is offering a true experiential moment thanks to the new beach area inspired by the historic cabins, which will give you a day at the beach with a flavour of times gone by.
"The first guests of the Danube middle class, on holiday with their children who needed sunbathing, sat on the beach and, looking at the sea, hid their forms under large cotton dresses and sheltered themselves with a charming parasol. The 'strong sea vapour' penetrated the body and breathed new life into it. The children, exhausted from running along the dry bath, played with the sand or searched for shells. These were the idyllic pictures of the beach."
