"Strighissi' by Giovanni Marchesan Stiata are 'stories to listen to'. They originate in the Grado lagoon and spread throughout the island's 'microcosm'. They cross calli and campielli and become legends. "Lagoon sagas' have been defined as these stories peopled with monsters, nocturnal ghosts and ancestral fears. Only an exorcism can make these ancient fears disappear and the 'magic word' is precisely 'Strighissi! Strighissi!"
