The beaches, bathing facilities, shops, bars, restaurants, wine bars, taverns, ice cream parlours, rental services (bikes, sports equipment and boats), sports associations that organize courses (swimming, windsurfing, skating, SUP, yoga, kitesurfing, tennis) and summer camps, the weekly Saturday's market, the offices, personal care services (hairdressers, beauticians and wellness centres), fitness centres, the Termal Spa and the solarium, the visitor centres of the two Nature Reserves in the surroundings of Grado (Valle Cavanata and Isola della Cona), Golf Club Grado, the churches and the passenger transport service to the Barbana Sanctuary are operational.
The thermal pool will reopen the 18th June; the Water Park reopens on Saturday 18th July.
From 13 June, it will be possible to use the playgrounds that will be sanitized daily.
Guided tours and excursions are carried out at a safe distance and with mouth and nose protection; with the necessary safety measures, events are allowed both indoors and outdoors and it is possible to visit museums and places of interest. Car parks are free until June 30, excluding the camper van area.
From Tuesday 30 June the boat Delfino Verde departs again, with the Grado -Trieste maritime line. Departure from Grado (Molo Torpediniere) at 10.15 and 18.35; return from Trieste at 17.00. Tickets on board.

In FVG the use of face masks - or nose and mouth protection - is mandatory in indoor and in all those social outdoor situations in which it is not possible to respect the safe distance. The only exceptions concern cohabitants, children under six years of age and people with disabilities incompatible with the continuous use of personal protective equipment. Gloves are only required at grocery stores, markets and supermarkets.
From June 3 is possible to enter in Italy and in Friuli Venezia Giulia coming from abroad, except for countries for which special measures are in force. The motorways are open; the most convenient railway stations to reach Grado are Cervignano/Aquileia /Grado and Trieste Airport (here you can also rent a car). The use of urban and extra urban buses is allowed only with a face mask and the available places will be reduced to guarantee safety distances between the users of the service; timetables may be subject to variations and the sale of tickets on board is temporarily suspended
For who arrives in Grado by bike along the Alpe Adria Cycle Route and wants to return to the starting point, the BiciBus Grado - Udine service is available from 13th June to 13th September every Saturday and Sunday in June, August and September, active ALL DAYS in July.
For those who, from Grado, want to reach the Collio by bike, from June 13 to September 13 will be active every weekend the BiciBus service Grado-Gorizia-Cormons.

The bathing season in Grado started on May 23; at the bathing facilities it has been prepared adequate information on preventive measures, which is also understandable to customers of others nationality; sanitizing products are available for customers and staff at several locations in the bathing facilities and physical barriers have been set up where necessary; all staff are equipped with face masks. It's recommended, but not mandatory, access to the bathing facilities by reservation; the main beach GIT allows you to make your reservation online, HERE MORE INFORMATION, which, thanks to the electronic payment, avoids crowds at the cashier's. From mid-June will be online the new portal SPIAGGIAFVG2020 through which you will be able to book the beach umbrellas at all the seaside resort in Friuli Venezia Giulia that join the initiative.
The bathing facilities will maintain the visitors' list for a period of 14 days and will provide for the eventual detection of the body temperature (preventing access in case of temperature > 37.5 °C). The spaces have been reorganized to ensure access to the facility in orderly manner, in order to avoid crowding and to ensure the maintenance of at least 1 meter of separation between users. All bathing facilities in Grado ensure a minimum distance between umbrellas of 10 square meters and they guarantee a distance of at least 1,5 meters between the equipment (sunbeds, deckchairs), when not placed in the umbrella place. All equipment are regularly and frequently hygienized as the common areas, changing rooms, beach cabins, showers, toilets, etc., both after the facility closing time and at every change of person or family groups.
This summer it won't be possible to play team sports on the beach to avoid crowds, but individual sports that usually take place both in water and on the sand, may be regularly practiced (kitesurfing, swimming, surfing, windsurfing, rackets, SUP, etc.).
With a municipal ordinance of 22 May, in the free beaches of the Municipality of Grado the following behaviors must be followed to prevent or reduce the risk of contagion from COVID-19:
- It must be ensured that at least 1 meter of separation between users is maintained, exception of people who, according to current regulations, are not subject to the interpersonal distancing.
- Gatherings are not permitted.
- It is forbidden to practice recreational-sports activities and group games that may give rise to gatherings.
- It is forbidden to stay on free beaches except for those identified, with adequately spaced pickets in the following areas: Costa Azzurra, Sacca, Pineta; the private equipment arrangement (deckchairs, umbrellas, etc. ...) must be placed close to the center of each individual station.
