At Terme Marine in Grado treatment with seawater are available. In particular, inhalation therapies are suitable for those who suffer from ENT or lung diseases, vasomotor sinusopathies, chronic pharyngo-laryngitis, chronic sinusitis and chronic rhino-sinus-bronchial syndromes. The inhalation treatment course (direct inhalations, room and aerosol nebulizing) involve use of heated seawater and are under agreement with the National Health Service.
Types of inhalation therapies
Direct inhalations
These treatments use heated seawater, which is inhaled directly via a jet through the mucosae in the nose and mouth. Direct inhalations are suited for disorders including vasomotor sinusopathies, chronic pharyngo-laryngitis, chronic sinusitis, and chronic rhino-sinus-bronchial syndromes.The standard duration of a session is ten minutes. One course consists of 12 treatments in 12 days.This service is under agreement with the N.H.S. It is not necessary to book for a specific time.

Room nebulising
This is a seawater nebulising treatment, which makes it possible for particles to reach the most distant and smallest parts of the respiratory system (bronchioles). The treatment is done in an area divided into rooms (two for adults and one used exclusively for children), where you stay for 10 to 20 minutes, breathing nebulized seawater. It is suitable for diseases including vasomotor sinusopathies, chronic pharyngo-laryngitis, chronic sinusitis, and chronic rhino-sinus-bronchial syndromes. Aerosol
This treatment consists in nebulising water producing seawater powder, which is inhaled through a disposable mouth shield. Each session has a standard duration of 10 minutes. It is suitable for diseases including vasomotor sinusopathies, chronic pharyngo-laryngitis, chronic sinusitis, and chronic rhino-sinus-bronchial syndromes. One course of treatment consists of 12 treatments in 12 days.The treatment is under agreement with the N.H.S. you need to book a time, with 15-minute shifts.
