A special microclimate that never lacks the sun on its coast, a clean sea and shallow waters make Grado a perfect, safe and accessible destination for a family holiday with children. Already a renowned seaside resort at the end of the 19th century, the Island of Grado is one of the oldest tourist locations in the Upper Adriatic: 10 km of beach with very fine sand entirely facing south, where the unmistakable Blue Flag (a national record!) has been waving for 33 years and for 11 years the Green Flag, promoted by European paediatricians; 120.000 square metres of sandy beach divided into four beaches (Grado Pineta, Spiaggia al Bosco, GIT and Costa Azzurra) which offer differentiated services to guests, who can further "personalise" their holiday days: VIP areas with large gazebos, baby and family beach with entertainment and play areas, beaches for dogs, bars and restaurants for refreshments, water and beach sports activities, cultural events and musical evenings, for a family-friendly holiday, in a dimension of relaxation and safety, far from the stress of everyday life.
