Discover Grado and its surroundings by bike
The island is located at the end of the Alpe Adria bike path, Europe's best bike path in 2015, with its wonderful mountain, hilly and lagoon landscapes that follow one another for 425 km, starting from Salzburg; other itineraries run through roads, vineyards, fields and paths that border the sea and connect Grado to the two natural reserves on the Isonzo River and the scenic golf course.
Many cycling itineraries, which can be covered with the most common types of city bikes and mountain bikes, allow you to discover the most fascinating places around Grado, with their naturalistic, landscape, artistic and archaeological pecuiliarities.
The itineraries can be covered in the span of a day, providing moments of in-depth study and restorative stops that will allow you to take advantage of the varied gastronomic offer of the territory.
The recommended seasons are spring and autumn, periods of the year in which the flowering and the range of colors give a special charm to the extraordinary landscapes.
