Managed by “Grado Impianti Turistici Spa”, the GIT Main Beach is a magnificent golden expanse that stretches for almost two kilometres; well-maintained and controlled with an entrance fee (a custom inaugurated during the Habsburg Empire) this beach includes playgrounds, restaurants (Antiche Terme, Aquamarina, Top Bar, Numero Uno), kiosks, green areas, game courts, changing rooms, Wi-Fi coverage and many other services.
There are eight entrances that delimit the various sectors, each one dedicated to a specific target: the "Settimo Cielo", the VIP area with its large gazebos, the "Bagno Imperiale", the "Classic beach", the "Spiaggia di Sissi" sector, the "Spiaggia Levante" sector, the "Baby beach" with various services for children, the "Gazebo/Pavillon" sector, the "Family beach", the "Smart beach" sector and the "Lido di Fido", for a beach holiday with 4-legged friends.
The offer of the GIT seaside establishment is completed by a large parking area at the back of the 7th entrance to the beach, cultural events at the Velarium and free entertainment for children and adults. Great attention is dedicated to eco-sustainability and disabled people thanks to dedicated pitches, walkways and JOB chairs available free of charge and barrier-free beach bars.
