From 1 to 5 October 2026, Grado will host the 29th International Master Budo – International Cup, a major international event dedicated to Jujitsu and Budo culture.
The event will bring masters, coaches, athletes and delegations from Italy and abroad to the ‘Island of the Sun’, offering several days of competitions, training, technical exchanges and sharing between different schools and traditions.
The 2026 edition will hold particular significance: from 2 to 4 October, the 50th Anniversary Congress of the WJJF/WJJKO 1976 will take place, organised to celebrate half a century of the Federation’s history.
The congress will also include the Ju Jitsu Mitteleuropa Jubilee and will be dedicated to the memory of Robert Clark (1946–2012), an international leading figure in the discipline.
The event will combine practice, training and technical discussion with the deepest values of Budo – such as discipline, respect and personal growth – whilst fostering interaction and cultural exchange amongst participants.
The detailed programme, timetables and venues for the various activities will be announced shortly.
