Following the success of its first edition, Grado Green Live returns to Grado – the festival that combines music, youth engagement and environmental awareness in one of the most picturesque locations on the ‘Island of the Sun’.
The event is scheduled for 18 and 19 August 2026 and will take place between the Velarium at GIT Beach and the spectacular Nazario Sauro Dam, transforming Grado’s seafront into a space for socialising, music and reflection on the future of sustainable events.
Organised by The Groove Factory, Consorzio Grado Turismo, Grado Town Council and Grado Impianti Turistici, the event is designed specifically for the younger generation, with the aim of demonstrating how entertainment, culture and respect for the environment can coexist and reinforce one another.
When music meets sustainability
Grado Green Live stems from a desire to tackle an increasingly topical issue: how to organise events and concerts whilst reducing their environmental impact.
Alongside live music, the festival offers sessions dedicated to exploring sustainability within the events sector, featuring professionals, industry operators and organisations that are developing new solutions to make shows and events increasingly environmentally responsible.
Past editions have featured a wealth of innovative and engaging initiatives, capable of transforming the audience into active champions of sustainability, demonstrating how even small gestures can help bring about tangible change.
One of the event’s hallmarks is the Green Live Contest, an opportunity for emerging artists wishing to perform in front of an audience and engage with industry professionals. The contest is one of the festival’s most eagerly anticipated events and underlines the organisers’ commitment to supporting young creativity and offering new opportunities to musicians and performers.
Benji & Fede headline the 2026 edition
