From Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 September, Largo Punta Barbacale in Grado Pineta will be transformed into a small Mediterranean agora with “AGORÀ – Greece under the stars”, an event organised by Taberna Itaca and dedicated to the flavours and atmosphere of Greece.
For four evenings, starting at 19.30, the food trucks will be serving a wide range of traditional Greek specialities, to be enjoyed on the spot in the area equipped with tables and seating, or ordered to take away.
Among the culinary offerings, you’ll find Pita Gyros, Souvlaki, Moussaka, Pita Soutsukaki, Dolmadakia, Tiropitakia, chickpea balls and Greek salad, as well as the traditional tzatziki and Thessaloniki sauces.
There’ll also be a selection of traditional desserts, including baklava, kataifi and Greek yoghurt, craft beer and a bar service.
The evenings will be accompanied by background music and an atmosphere inspired by the colours and scents of the Mediterranean.
