The summer in Grado continues in the spirit of fun with one of the most eagerly awaited events of the “Grado Summer Surprises”, the festival designed for audiences of all ages: Monday 3 August 2026, the Parco delle Rose will host Antonio Ornano with his new theatre show “(In)GRATO”.
Comedian, actor and a much-loved face on Italian television, Antonio Ornano will take to the stage with an intense and engaging monologue, skilfully alternating comedy, biting irony and personal reflection. “(In)GRATO” is a show that explores, with both lightness and depth, the imperfections, fragilities and contradictions of everyday life, reminding the audience that feeling grateful isn’t always easy… and that, perhaps, that’s all right too.
Amidst hilarious moments and unexpected reflections, Ornano takes the audience on a human and authentic journey, where the most uncomfortable truths become an opportunity to smile, recognise oneself and view oneself with greater light-heartedness.
Since 2010, Antonio Ornano has been one of the most popular figures in Italian comedy thanks to his appearances on hugely successful programmes such as Zelig, Colorado, Mai Dire Gol, Quelli che il calcio and Le Iene. Iconic characters such as Franco Prunes, Space Cacace, Ignazio and the famous biologist-naturalist professor have won over thousands of viewers through television and theatre tours across Italy. In recent years, he has also starred in the return of Mai Dire Gol with Gialappa’s Band and made his prime-time debut on Nove with his show “Mascio caucasico irrisolto”.
An evening filled with laughter, intelligent irony and Ornano’s very special ability to transform human frailties into an engaging and surprisingly authentic show.
