The Barcola and Grignano Sailing Club, in collaboration with the Italian Naval League of Grado, the Ausonia Rowing Club, the Municipality of Grado and GIT (Grado Impianti Turistici), is pleased to present the third edition of the Barcolana Sup Experience Grado, an extraordinary event to be held in the fascinating waters of the Grado lagoon. New for the 2025 edition: the route is split into two, with one for enthusiasts and one for competitive paddlers.
Amateur route (approx. 4 km)
The start is scheduled for 10:00 am from the Spiaggia Imperiale. Participants will pay along the coast of the Isola d'Oro, between buoys and the coast, and then cross the entire breakwater that extends in front of the marina. The route continues under the swing bridge, arriving at the Mandracchio di Grado, in the heart of the historic centre.
Estimated time: 30–50 minutes.
A village will be set up for participants at both the start and finish lines.
Technical/competitive route (approx. 7 km)
This race will also start from the Spiaggia Imperiale at 10:00 a.m. The route involves navigating between buoys and the coast, passing along the entire breakwater and completing a full counterclockwise lap around the Isola della Schiusa, before heading back up the canal and finishing the race at the Mandracchio.
Estimated time: 40–60 minutes.
There will also be reception points at the start and finish for this category.

Participation categories: The event is open to different categories of participants, ensuring fun and challenge for everyone. The categories include:
Sup - Under 14 Kids
Sup - Under 18
Sup - Open (aged between 18 and 45)
Sup - Master (over 45 years old)
Participation fees
€40 – Technical/competitive race
€25 – Amateur race
Fees are refundable only for medical reasons, upon presentation of a valid certificate.
