At 9 p.m.

On Tuesday 9 July at 9 p.m., the Basilica di Santa Eufemia will host an extraordinary event: a concert by the famous violinist Stefan Milenkovich. This artist, much loved in Grado, is once again the guest of Giorgio Tortora, who strongly wanted him for the 2024 edition of the "Musica a 4 Stelle" festival.

Stefan Milenkovich, violin prodigy, has a career that speaks for itself. He has played in front of important world figures, including at the United Nations, where his notes accompanied the historic agreement on the Balkans. In addition, he has had the honour of performing before St John Paul II, who subsequently appointed him universal ambassador of peace. After filling the most prestigious concert halls in the USA, Milenkovich returned to Serbia to found a renowned international violin academy. In Grado, he will perform with the Akademia Novi Sad Orchestra, composed of the best international virtuosi.

The concert programme is unmissable: it will range from themes from 'Carmina Burana' in an exclusive instrumental version, to the great classics, from Piazzolla to Saint-Saëns. This event is a great source of pride for Grado, offering a musical experience of the highest level to both residents and the island's many visitors. The concert, which at La Scala, Carnegie Hall and the Musikverein in Vienna regularly records "sold out", is made even more special by the decision to offer it with free admission thanks to the support of the Municipality of Grado, the F.V.G. Region and the "Carigo" Foundation of Gorizia.

It is advisable to arrive at the Basilica early, given the expected large number of spectators. Don't miss the opportunity to attend such a musical event!
