Two boys met at school, the third joined them on the theatre stage of an oratory. They form a trio and land on the frequencies of a local radio station, then the first experiments on YouTube. Today they involve a digital audience of millions. This is the summary of the story of the Autogol, a trio of youtubers, impersonators and presenters, who managed to transform their passion for football combined with irony into the job they dreamed of. ‘Ours is a story of friendship. If Gli Autogol didn't exist, the three of us would still be friends. And we would probably spend most of our time laughing and joking about football'. But now they are ‘a real company’ with a following of two million people on Facebook and as many on YouTube.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Spes, the parish recreation centre in Grado, Don Paolo invited ‘Gli Autogol’, who will inaugurate the celebrations on Thursday 17 October. ‘From the Oratory to San Siro’, this is the title of the meeting, will be an opportunity to smile and to get to know the story of these three friends who grew up in the Oratory and who, even today, think back to those beginnings.
The Autogol were born artistically in 2008 doing imitations and parodies on the world of football that have conquered millions of followers on social networks. The sports comedy trio formed by Michele Negroni, Alessandro Iraci and Alessandro ‘Rollo’ Trolli.
Admission to the Auditorium is free.
