In May 2026, Grado will host the 25th International Firefighters' Convention, a major event that will bring together fire brigades and associations from all over the world on the Island of the Sun.
An opportunity for meeting, friendship and professional exchange, but also a festival open to the public, with parades, exhibitions, activities for families, conferences and entertainment.
The protagonists will also be historic vehicles, on display and in motion along the roads of the region, to highlight the tradition and history of the Fire Brigade and, at the same time, the beauty of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Alongside the official programme, a large exhibition area will be set up for the duration of the event, with stands from companies in the sector, new-generation rescue equipment, demonstration areas and tastings of local food and wine products, just a few steps from the beach and the city centre.
