Organised by the Società Canottieri Ausonia, in collaboration with the Lega Navale Italiana – Grado Branch, the Graisana is much more than just a sporting event: it is a celebration of a passion for the sea and Grado’s sailing tradition.
Established in the early 1980s, the Graisana has retained its original spirit over the years: setting out to sea together, without haste, for the sheer pleasure of sailing. Over the years, it has welcomed leading figures from the world of Italian sailing, including Mauro Pelaschier, the legendary helmsman of Azzurra, and historic boats such as Il Moro di Venezia, Rainbow, Condor and Fanatic, helmed for many years by Francesco ‘Checco’ Battiston.
The event is open to various types of boats, divided into the categories All Sails, Vele Bianche and Barche d'Epoca, thus allowing participation by both the most competitive crews and those wishing to experience sailing in the authentic spirit of the Graisana.
Programme
Saturday 27 June
from 19.00, at the headquarters of the Società Canottieri Ausonia, the traditional ‘Sardelada’ dedicated to the crews.
Sunday 28 June
12.50: warning signal;
13.00: start of the race (single race);
6.45 pm: prize-giving ceremony at Porto Mandracchio in Grado, followed by a social gathering.

Entries must be received by 5.00 pm on Saturday 27 June 2026 via the ConiNet / MyFIV App portal or by email, using the appropriate form.
Registrations must be finalised by 10.00 am on Sunday 28 June.
FIV membership is required, including the ‘Diporto’ promotional category.
