Venue: Aquileia
On Monday the 10th and Tuesday the 11th of August 2026, from 6.00 pm to midnight, Aquileia will host Wine Nights, a travelling event that combines wine tastings, live music, culture and special openings of the city’s main archaeological sites.
Six local wineries will offer a variety of experiences, including guided tastings, performances, concerts, DJ sets and culinary specialities, transforming the historic centre into a route to be explored on foot or by bike.
How to take part
To take part, you must purchase the official wine glass for €10, which entitles you to six tastings.
The wine glass can be purchased:
in advance on the website www.euroticket.it;
during the event directly from the wineries.
The bag containing the wine glass can be collected from:
Aquileia – PromoTurismoFVG (Via Giulia Augusta 11) and the Basilica ticket office (Piazza Capitolo 1);
Grado – PromoTurismoFVG (Campo Porta Nuova 26) and HUB Aquileia at the main entrance to GIT Beach.
All proceeds will be donated to the Associazione Amici di Federico.
A tour of wineries and archaeological sites
The event is designed to be enjoyed on foot or by bike.
During the two evenings, a free Night Bus will also be running, providing a continuous service between all the wineries, departing from the terminal on Via Giulia Augusta, with passengers able to hop on and off at any stop along the route.
For those staying in Grado, a free shuttle bus will also be available, which can be booked at www.euroticket.it, with departures from Piazza Carpaccio at 6.00 pm, 6.30 pm and 7.00 pm and return journeys from the terminal on Via Giulia Augusta at 11.00 pm, 11.30 pm and midnight.

Vini Brojli – Test your palate under the stars: Blind tasting and wine betting led by sommelier Fulvio Pratesi, with four sessions (19.30, 20.30, 21.30 and 22.30) .Culinary accompaniment by Atelier dei Sapori.
Ca’ Tullio – The flavours of Friuli meet the rhythm of the night: Tastings, traditional Friulian specialities and a DJ set by Gianluca Varone.
Vini Donda – Friulian tradition, one bite at a time: Tastings accompanied by smoked mortadella from Romans and Prosciutto di San Daniele.
Puntin Wines – Toast, dance, savour: DJ Ricky Emme, tastings and specialities from La Colombara Restaurant.
Ritter de Záhony – A journey through jazz, wine and ancient Rome: Live jazz duet and tastings accompanied by dishes inspired by Roman cuisine.
Cantina Tarlao – Discover the character of local wines: Guided tastings, stories about wine and a DJ set by Alan.
Tuesday 11 August
Vini Brojli – Wine, theatre and conviviality: A glass of wine and the theatre performance “Un taglio di rosso corposo” (8.00 pm), with the wine shop open and culinary offerings from Atelier dei Sapori and Ristorante Al Granaio.
Ca’ Tullio – A toast to history: Guided tours of the historic cellar and a tasting in the charming Taberna Romana.
Vini Donda – Tradition and fun: DJ set by Gianluca Varone, tastings and canapés with local cold cuts.
Vini Puntin – The pleasure of simplicity: A glass of wine and specialities from La Colombara Restaurant.
Ritter de Záhony – Music, wine and flavours of antiquity: DJ Ricky Emme and tastings inspired by ancient Rome.
Cantina Tarlao – A toast to the beat of the music: Guided tasting of the winery’s wines and, from 9.30 pm, a concert by Sax & Drums with Filaments of Existence.
