From 13 to 16 August 2026, Grado is gearing up for one of the most eagerly awaited moments of the summer with a packed programme of events involving the whole town. Concerts, DJ sets, beach parties, food and wine events, family shows, activities for children and the traditional fireworks display will make the Ferragosto weekend a special occasion to experience the ‘Island of the Sun’.

Thursday 13 August
Flavours of Italy – Roman Festival
From 6.00 pm to midnight at the Parco delle Rose.
“Sapori d’Italia – Festa Romana” gets underway, a food and wine festival running throughout the "Ferragosto" weekend until Sunday 16 August. The stalls will offer culinary specialities inspired by Roman tradition, giving visitors the chance to enjoy an evening of culinary delights.
Books and Authors in Grado
6.30 pm at the Velarium – GIT Beach.
The literary festival “Books and Authors in Grado” draws to a close with a guest of the highest calibre. The star of the evening will be Carlo Cottarelli, an internationally renowned economist, who will present his latest book “L’economia facile” (Solferino), a volume that helps readers understand the main economic mechanisms in simple, accessible language.
The author will be in conversation with the institutional journalist Elisabetta Pozzetto, an expert in the circular economy.
SUP Party Night
From 6.30 pm at the Tivoli Beach Club – Costa Azzurra Beach.
An experience combining sport, the sea and a convivial atmosphere. The event includes a sunset SUP and kayaking excursion, followed by a dinner on the beach featuring paella and sangria. Places are limited and advance booking is required with ASD FairPlay. More info HERE.
Oltre i Confini – Beyond Borders
8.30 pm at the Basilica of Saint Euphemia.
The Basilica will host a concert by the National Honoured Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir, the prestigious official ensemble of the Transcarpathian Region (Ukraine). Through a repertoire of sacred and traditional music, the choir will take the audience on a journey of discovery into the culture and identity of the Ukrainian people. The event marks the launch of the international project SolidaRoad 2026, promoted by the San Luigi Scrosoppi ETS Association.
Giovedisco
From 9.00 pm to 11.00 pm in Largo Punta Barbacale – Grado Pineta.
Giovedisco is back – Grado Pineta’s open-air disco, featuring DJ sets and music under the stars.

Friday 14 August
Flavours of Italy – Roman Festival
From 10.00 to midnight at Parco delle Rose.
The second day of the food and wine festival, with stalls open all day.
Entertainment at Bora Bora Beach
9.00 – Miniclub
The day at the Bora Bora Beach resort begins with activities for the little ones thanks to the Miniclub, designed to offer moments of play and fun on the beach.
7.00 pm – Pilates
In the late afternoon, it’s time for some wellness with a Pilates class right on the beach.
Disco Bike Night
8.30 pm departure from Viale Dante Alighieri 72.
The Grado Tourism Consortium presents the final event of the season for the Disco Bike Night, a guided sunset cycle tour combining sport, music and fun. Accompanied by a cycle tour guide and a musical cargo bike, participants will cycle approximately 11 kilometres through the historic centre, Mandracchio harbour, the lagoon and Grado Pineta, with a stop for an aperitif at Bar Capricorno.

Grado Music Festival
From 8.00 pm to 1.30 am on the Lungomare Nazario Sauro.
The Grado Music Festival kicks off with an evening entirely dedicated to house music. Taking to the stage will be Joe T Vannelli, one of Italy’s best-known DJs and producers on the international scene, alongside the ‘History of House’ set featuring Julio Montana, Giovanni Mans and live saxophone performances by Luca Capizzi. Saturday 15 August – Ferragosto
Closure of the town centre
From 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
To mark Ferragosto, the historic centre will be closed to traffic. This initiative will allow residents and visitors to enjoy the narrow streets, squares and shops in a quieter and safer environment.
Ferragosto di Fuoco – Bora Bora Beach
The Bora Bora Beach beach club is hosting a whole day dedicated to the Beer Festival; there will be a “ Beerfighter”, the original American fire engine converted into a refreshment point, where you can enjoy draught beer all weekend long, accompanied by a selection of street food.
At 9.00 the Miniclub activities will get underway, whilst from 17.00 DJ Zippo will entertain the crowd with music and entertainment until the evening. All the info HERE.
Ferragosto at Piper Beach
Once again this year, Piper Beach is reviving one of its most eagerly awaited traditions: the themed Ferragosto party. The theme for the 2026 edition will remain a closely guarded secret right up until the last moment, helping to create the atmosphere of surprise that has characterised this event for years.
Flavours of Italy – Roman Festival

The event continues throughout the day with food stalls open until midnight.
Chalet Dolomiti – Ferragosto
From 11.00 to 21.00 at the Tivoli Beach Club.
The Tivoli Beach Club is hosting a day dedicated to the authentic flavours of the Dolomites. The menu features traditional mountain dishes, accompanied by music from DJ Luca Perso, straight from the Murin in Corvara. The theme chosen for this year’s event is the “Vintage Ski Party”, with a dress code inspired by the world of skiing of yesteryear.

From 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm
Live music in Via Gradenigo. Event organised by the “LadelaCesa” bar and the “Osteria da Filomena”.
Grado Music Festival Young
From 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
The Nazario Sauro Dam will host an afternoon dedicated to children, featuring entertainment, music and cartoon characters.
Guided tour: “Discovering Grado: between sea and wonder”
6.00 pm.
Setting off from the PromoTurismoFVG Infopoint, you can take part in a guided tour of the historic centre to discover the history, art and traditions of the ‘Island of the Sun’.
M’Innamoro – Italian Night
9.00 pm on the Nazario Sauro Promenade
The evening continues with a show dedicated to the greatest hits of Italian music, reimagined with a dance twist.
Ferragosto at GIT Beach
GIT Beach offers a range of experiences to enjoy the fireworks display: ‘Bollicine on the Beach’ at Spiaggia Imperiale, dinner at the Antiche Terme, a buffet and after-party at Bar Numero Uno, free access to the beach upon booking (GIT app) and the after-party following the display. 11.00 pm
The most eagerly awaited event of Ferragosto in Grado will be the traditional fireworks display, visible from the seafront and the Lungomare Nazario Sauro.
Mauro Miclini – Hit Mania from Radio Deejay
From 11.45 pm.
After the fireworks, the party will continue at the Nazario Sauro Embankment with Mauro Miclini and a long night of music until 3.30 am.
Sunday 16 August
Closure of the town centre
From 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
The Low-Traffic Zone in the town centre will also be in force on Sunday morning. This initiative, organised by Grado Town Council on the busiest days, will allow visitors to stroll through the narrow streets, squares, shops and bars in a quieter and safer environment. The Sacca dei Moreri car park will be available, with a free shuttle service to the beaches.
Bora Bora Beach – Ferragosto di Fuoco
The Beer Festival continues with the iconic ‘Beerfighter’ – an American fire engine converted into a food and drink stall – where you can enjoy draught beer and street food.
The day’s programme includes:
9.00 am – Kids’ club for the little ones.
From 5.00 pm – Harley-Davidson Rock Aperitif with a motorbike exhibition in the area in front of Bora Bora Beach.
7.00 pm – Pilates on the beach.
Flavours of Italy – Roman Festival
From 10.00 to midnight at Parco delle Rose.
The final day of the food and wine festival dedicated to traditional Roman flavours. The food stalls will remain open all day, offering typical specialities in a festive atmosphere.
Masquerade Parade
Costa del Sol Beach Club – Grado Pineta.
Costa del Sol Beach hosts one of the summer’s most colourful events, dedicated to children, families and anyone wishing to spend an afternoon full of fun. The 2026 edition also marks the fourth parade dedicated to the memory of Luca Romanello, a moment of celebration and togetherness experienced in the spirit of friendship that always characterised him.

4.30 pm – Masked Parade presented and hosted by Alessandro Marchesan and Arianna Salvador.

WOW SPLASH – Radio Show
From 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm at the Water Park.
The Water Park is hosting one of Radio WOW’s summer events. Three hours of live music, entertainment and activities will liven up the afternoon with DJ sets, games and plenty of fun by the pool.
Grado Music Festival
From 8.00 pm to 1.00 am on the Nazario Sauro Promenade.
The grand finale of the Grado Music Festival features an evening entirely dedicated to the greatest dance hits of the 1990s and 2000s. DJs Flò and Cristiano Romani will take to the stage with the Back to the Hits ’90/’00 programme, accompanied by performers, LED displays, showgirls and free giveaways. The evening’s special guest will be Nathalie Aarts, the legendary vocalist of The Soundlovers, star of some of Europe’s greatest dance hits such as Run-away, People, Another Day and Wonderful Life. Food stalls and a bar service will be available throughout the event. Free entry (over-18s only).
