The night-time pilgrimages to Barbana embody the essence of the journey: a simple yet profound symbol which, in the rhythm of the sea and the silence of the night, evokes life itself. Faith, indeed, is never static, but movement, a quest, a surrender… just like a crossing that leads to a destination.
At the Sanctuary of Barbana, Mary, Queen of the Lagoon, welcomes pilgrims and visitors every year: here hopes find a home, prayers take shape and the heart can open up, rediscovering a space for listening and tranquillity.
During the summer, these moments of spirituality are renewed with the traditional evening pilgrimages by sea, an evocative experience that combines the charm of the lagoon with a sense of contemplation.
