The historic Terme Marine di Grado, a benchmark for thalassotherapy since the 19th century, reopens with a revamped project that combines traditional spa treatments, wellness, fitness and programmes dedicated to longevity, within the new Sea Water Hub, based on the island's five natural elements: sea water, iodine, sand, lagoon air and sun.

Areas and services available

1) Wellness Area / SPA (reserved for over 16s)

A refined and peaceful environment, designed to promote regeneration and relaxation through the combination of sea water, heat and scientific technologies.

  • Monday and Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

  • Tuesday: closed

  • Wednesday: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

  • Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

  • Sunday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

2) Fitness Area

A modern centre equipped with Technogym equipment, focusing on the Longevity Move method (strength, stability, aerobic efficiency). Each programme begins with a medical-sports assessment and a personalised programme.

3) Beauty SPA

Areas dedicated to personal well-being, with:

  • 3 massage and body treatment rooms

  • 1 beauty treatment room

  • 1 couples' treatment room

  • 1 cryotherapy room, also available for couples' treatments

4) Medical and Thermal Area

The spa remains active with a medical clinic and treatments for the whole family.

  • Treatments available: balneotherapy and other traditional therapies

  • Inhalation treatments: currently not operational; expected to be reactivated by March 2026

  • NHS ticket: from 1 August 2016, the fee is €55.00, as required by Law 208/2015

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 08.30 – 15.00 (closed on Sundays and public holidays).

From 1 August 2016, the ticket price for spa treatments is €55.00 in accordance with the provisions of Law 28/12/2015, no. 208, art. 1 paragraph 567.

5) Thermal pool with sea water

Reopened in December 2025, the Thermal Pool has two pools filled with sea water, allowing visitors to enjoy the pleasures of the sea in every season. One pool is used for swimming: it has a shallow end where bathers can rest without having to get out of the water, and the depth increases towards the opposite end

. The temperature is 31°C. The second pool, which is slightly smaller, is heated to 32°C. It is equipped with a coordinated hydromassage system at the edge of the pool: excellent for kinesitherapy treatments and also suitable for those who have not yet learned to swim.

The new course calendar, starting in January 2026, includes group and individual water activities, including: water aerobics, analgesic gymnastics, hydrokinesis and physio Pilates.
