The Società Canottieri Ausonia is organising the non-competitive event ‘Vogadalonga Grado’ on 26 October 2025, open to clubs affiliated with FIC, FICK and clubs practising Venetian rowing, SUP and dragon boat, including those from other countries.
The regatta will not count towards any national rankings.
ROUTE
The route, approximately 18 km long, will start from the stretch of water in front of the Società Canottieri Ausonia headquarters and will wind its way along the Litoranea Veneta to Primero, before returning to the starting point.
Given the non-competitive nature of the event, each crew will be free to make a “turnaround” at any time to return to the starting/finishing point, paying the utmost attention to other boats and remaining within the established route, as assistance will only be guaranteed within this area.
PROGRAMME
Accreditation: Saturday 25 October from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 26 October from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the headquarters of the Società Canottieri Ausonia;
Departure: 10 a.m.;
Modality: single flying start for all types of boats;
Start and finish line: in front of the club headquarters;
Lunch to follow.
BOATS
As far as rowing is concerned, participation is reserved for boats with a coxswain.
For other disciplines, the choice is free.
The use of a life jacket is recommended for all participants; however, it is mandatory in cases where the relevant federation requires its use.
CAPACITY AND PARTICIPATION LIMITS
Each participating athlete declares, under their own responsibility, that they are in possession of a medical certificate of fitness for competitive or non-competitive sports.
The Società Canottieri Ausonia declines all responsibility for damage to persons and/or property that may occur during the event and, therefore, each participant takes part in the event at their own risk.
The participation of athletes under the age of 14 is permitted:
in multiple boats, in the presence of adult athletes;
in single boats, under the supervision of at least one instructor (accompanying them in the water) for every 10 registered athletes.
The instructor shall be appointed by the club intending to register this type of athlete. The names of the supervisors must be indicated at the bottom of the registration form.
CANCELLATION OF THE RACE AND CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE
In the event of adverse weather and sea conditions, the organising committee reserves the right to change the start time and route and/or suspend the event.
REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION FEE
Registrations must be submitted by midnight on Monday 20 October 2025, by sending the registration form (Annex A) to the following e-mail address: canottieriausonia@virgilio.it
The registration fee is set at €30.00 for each participating athlete (including coxswains) and must be paid in the following ways:

or in cash at the time of accreditation.
During accreditation, the representative of each club will receive the identification numbers of the boats registered and must pay a security deposit of €10.00.
ASSISTANCE
An assistance service along the route and medical assistance on land will be provided.
