From 4 June to 17 September, every Wednesday, a unique experience awaits you to discover the European Capital of Culture 2025! Thanks to the promotional project ‘Crocevie d'Europa’ (Crossroads of Europe) created by the Municipality of Gorizia, depart from Grado and let yourself be accompanied by expert guides on a journey through history, nature and culture: Gorizia, Nova Gorica, the Isonzo, the Collio and much more!
• DEPARTURES: 08.30 from Grado centre (Piazza Carpaccio) / 08.45 from the campsites in Grado (Cà Laguna, Europa, Punta Spin, Primero)
• GUIDED TOUR OF GORIZIA: Piazza Transalpina, between Gorizia and Nova Gorica; view of the border crossing with the Lasciapassare/Prepuštnica exhibition; Borgo Castello, Cathedral and Church of Sant'Ignazio; Via Rastello, Piazza Vittoria.
• FREE LUNCH
• AFTER LUNCH: departure by bus to Collio/Brda: Dobrovo Castle, San Martino/Smartno; through Collio Sloveno/Brda, we will then reach the Osimo road and the Salcano bridge, before arriving in Nova Gorica, Valdirose with a stop at the Jewish Cemetery and return to Italy at Merna.
• RETURN to Grado, at the same departure points, at around 6.30 p.m.
