29 years of married life in 90 minutes... Come sei bella stasera (How Beautiful You Are Tonight), the prose debut of Antonio De Santis, the historic author of Ale&Franz, screenwriter and publicist, follows the story of Anna and Paolo in ten scenes that unfold from a few months after their wedding to their 29th anniversary.
The dynamics of couple and family life are presented in a hilarious but very true way: the inevitable jealousies, the children, at first much desired and sought after, who then force sleepless nights (as children because they can't sleep and as adults because they don't want to sleep but to go to parties), the square metres of the flat that are increasingly narrow, the frantic search for intimacy undermined by grandparents-baby sitters...
A cross-section of real life in which all viewers (even single people!) cannot help but identify.
The protagonists are played by Gaia De Laurentiis and Max Pisu, two performers with different backgrounds and histories who nonetheless share the audience's affection and desire to entertain, guided by Marco Rampoldi's direction, ever more confident in his research on the nobility of laughing at the theatre.
