2026 PROGRAMME:

  • Friday 26 June: Springsteen - Save Me from Nothing (Biographical/Musical/Drama, USA, 2025, directed by Scott Cooper)

The film takes the audience on an intimate journey through the life of Bruce Springsteen, alternating between childhood memories and pivotal moments in his artistic career. From 1950s New Jersey, where the young Bruce grew up in a family marked by financial hardship and a complex relationship with his father Douglas, to the early 1980s, when Springsteen had become an international rock star thanks to hits such as Born to Run, Hungry Heart and The River. After a long world tour, Bruce retreats to the tranquillity of New Jersey to work on what would become one of the most personal and intense albums of his career: Nebraska. Amidst suburban venues, unexpected encounters and new relationships, the film recounts the creative process behind some of his most iconic songs, often born from true stories, personal anxieties and family memories. Initially recorded in a simple, almost DIY manner in his bedroom using a four-track recorder, Nebraska takes shape as a deeply authentic work, far removed from the commercial logic of the music industry. Whilst producers push for more radio-friendly sounds and chart-topping hits, Springsteen chooses to remain true to his artistic vision, whilst grappling with personal crises, loneliness and depression. An intense and compelling story that goes beyond the music, offering a human portrait of an artist capable of transforming fragility, memory and anxieties into timeless songs.

Film running time: 120 minutes; no interval. During the screening, it will still be possible to visit the beach club bar, which will be open. BOOK HERE.

  • Friday 10 July: Lilo & Stitch (Animation/Adventure/Comedy/Family, USA, 2025, directed by Dean Fleischer Camp)

Little Lilo lives in Hawaii with her older sister Nani, who struggles to look after her following the loss of their parents. Lonely, imaginative and often misunderstood, Lilo finds a very special friend when she meets a strange little blue creature whom she believes to be a dog and decides to call Stitch. But Stitch is hiding a secret: he is actually Experiment 626, an alien creature designed to wreak havoc and destruction, who has escaped from a distant planet and is being pursued both by his creator, the eccentric scientist Jumba, and by the galactic authorities determined to bring him back. Amidst chases, hilarious situations and moments of great tenderness, a deep bond forms that will lead Lilo and Stitch to discover the true meaning of the word ohana: family. A family which, even if imperfect and unconventional, means that no one is left behind or forgotten. The live-action version of the famous 2002 Disney classic manages to keep the heart of the original story intact, blending adventure, comedy and science fiction with evocative Hawaiian atmospheres and a universal message of affection, friendship and belonging. An engaging film for young and old alike, capable of moving and entertaining under the stars.

Film running time: 108 minutes; there is no interval. During the screening, you will still be able to visit the beach club bar, which will be open. BOOK HERE

  • Friday 21 August: I Roses (Comedy/Drama, UK/USA, 2025, directed by Jay Roach)

Theo and Ivy Rose seem to have it all: a successful career, a beautiful home, two children and a seemingly perfect life. He is an established architect; she is a creative and passionate chef. But behind the image of the ideal family, ever-deepening cracks soon begin to emerge. When a spectacular professional failure throws Theo into crisis and, conversely, Ivy’s restaurant suddenly becomes a resounding success, the couple’s balance is turned on its head. Ambitions, frustrations, jealousy and rivalry slowly transform their marriage into a hilarious yet fierce domestic war of cutting remarks, mutual revenge and increasingly unpredictable clashes. Inspired by Warren Adler’s famous novel and a contemporary reinterpretation of the cult classic The War of the Roses, the film blends black humour, biting irony and brilliant dialogue to intelligently explore just how fine the line between love and resentment can be. A sophisticated and irreverent comedy that, with sarcasm and a fast-paced rhythm, debunks the myth of the perfect couple, offering the audience bitter laughter and surprisingly topical reflections.

Film running time: 105 minutes; there is no interval. During the screening, it will still be possible to visit the beach club bar, which will be open. BOOK HERE
