Grado offers 120 thousand m2 of sandy shore overall, divided into different beaches with differentiated services to allow you to “personalise” your holiday to the maximum.
The Beach named “Al Bosco” [By the Wood] lies in a very peaceful area between the Main Beach and Grado Pineta. Next to this stretch of beach lies a large, over one kilometre-long wooded area, much loved by families, who want to enjoy a bit of shade in the hottest hours of the day or have a picnic in peace, or even enjoy a few moments of complete relaxation.
The seabed here is quite shallow, ideal for young children to play safely. If you want a good swim, you have to move away from the shore beyond the sandbanks. Al Bosco beach, next to entrance no. 8 to the main GIT beach, is a public beach and entry for pedestrians is free of charge. The part of the sandy beach before you get to the Wood is known as La Sacca. This is a public area, which also has a licensed area.
