On Tuesday 28 July, Grado’s main beach will host a special evening dedicated to local flavours, filled with aromas, tastes and the magic of sunset. An elegant yet relaxed occasion, where signature cuisine meets the charm of the sea.
Along the beach, with views of the sea and the sunset, chefs from the group’s restaurants will cook live for the public, joined by winemakers and culinary artisans, for a multi-sensory experience celebrating the culinary and wine excellence of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The chefs from the following restaurants will be cooking original dishes live in front of the audience:
AB Osteria Contemporanea in Lavariano di Mortegliano, Ai Fiori in Trieste, Al Gallo in Pordenone, Al Grop in Tavagnacco, Al Paradiso in Pocenia, Al Ponte in Gradisca D’Isonzo, All’Androna in Grado, Alla Luna in Gorizia, Caffetteria Torinese in Palmanova, Campiello in San Giovanni al Natisone, Carnia in Venzone, Casa Valcellina in Montereale Valcellina, Costantini in Collalto di Tarcento, Da Alvise in Sutrio, Da Nando in Mortegliano, Enoteca di Buttrio, Il Grappolo d’Oro in Colle di Arba, La Torre in Spilimbergo, Le Fucine Gourmet in Buttrio, Lokanda Devetak in Savogna d’Isonzo, Mandi Parentesi Friulana in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Mondschein in Sappada, Motus Contemporary Bistrot in Grado, Riva Zanelli in Lignano Sabbiadoro, San Michele in Fagagna, Tre Merli in Trieste, Vitello d’Oro in Udine.
At each station, alongside the chefs, there will be a winemaker, who will offer tastings of their wines – selected as the best pairing for the food on offer – and will be on hand to answer any questions or queries from the public. To round off the event, each restaurant, the pastry chefs and the ice-cream makers belonging to the consortium will present their sweet creations, and there will be stands serving coffee and spirits.

An evening to be enjoyed barefoot on the sand, immersed in the flavours of the region and the colours of one of the most beautiful summer sunsets.
