FOODX by Rolling Truck – Street Food Festival

FOODX by Rolling Truck, the festival dedicated to Italian and international street food, is back in Grado, taking place from 3 to 6 September at the Parco delle Rose.

For four days, a selection of food trucks will bring freshly prepared specialities to Grado, ranging from the great classics of Italian regional cuisine to flavours from different parts of the world.

Among the seafood options, you’ll find fried seafood, pan polpo and gourmet sandwiches with prawns, salmon and burrata. There’ll also be plenty of Italian specialities, including gnocco fritto and cured meats, Maremma burgers, truffle specialities, Bra sausage, rösti, cuoppo with fried agnolotti and sage, and pan tometta.

The journey through regional traditions will continue with Sicilian arancini, pane e panelle, Roman pinsa, stuffed schiacciate, Apulian panzerotti and Abruzzese arrosticini.

There’ll be no shortage of international flavours either: from Mexican cuisine with burritos, tacos and nachos, to Spanish specialities such as paella and patatas bravas, right through to pita and falafel from the Greek tradition. Rounding off the menu are pulled pork and Black Angus burgers.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options will also be available.

To finish on a sweet note, there’ll be Sicilian cannoli filled to order, churros and other specialities, accompanied by a selection of craft beers on tap, cocktails, wines and other drinks.

Throughout the evenings, the festival will be accompanied by music from FOODX.
