Paddling through the reeds of the nature reserve, to live a real green experience!
Freshwater marshes, but also vast salt marshes, reeds, woods and prairies: the Reserve of the Isonzo river mouth is the ideal habitat for many animal species and in particular for birds, both resident and migratory. Not surprisingly, it has been recognized as the best area in Italy for birdwatching. Its heart, the Cona island that hosts the visitor centre, is one of the most interesting didactic, scientific and naturalistic sites at international level that you will visit in all its beauty during the canoe tour.
At the end you will be greeted with an aperitif and tasting of local wines at a nearby winery that is part of the FVG Wine and Flavours Route.
Program:
h.13.45 meeting of the participants of the Foce dell'Isonzo Nature Reserve - Isola della Cona
h. 14.00 - 16.30 welcome, short briefing and canoe trip accompanied by nature guides and canoe instructors
h. 16.30 hours for a short visit to the Reserve
h. 17.30 aperitif with wine tasting in a nearby winery

Knowing how to swim is a mandatory requirement
There is no activity for children from 0 to 7 years old.
