Vogadalonga

Vogadalonga

This non-competitive rowing race has ancient origins. It winds its way along the canals of the lagoon over an 18 km route.

The Vogadalonga in Grado began as a “race between districts” to become today’s 18-km, non-competitive race, starting from the stretch of water in front of the Darsena Torpediniere and winding along the Veneto shoreline until it reaches Primero, where it turns back to the starting point.

Organised by the canoeing society and school, Canottieri Ausonia, the event is open to everyone and is usually held on the last Sunday in October

Over the years, the Vogadalonga has become a traditional, unmissable date for the clubs affiliated with Federcanottaggio, Federcanoa, with the Venetian rowing clubs and with the Sup (stand up paddle). As it is a non-competitive race, it also attracts numerous aficionados from nearby Austria or from the region of Veneto each year.

Canottieri Ausonia provides a hire service for the equipment required.
