Grand Hotel Astoria

The Grand Hotel Astoria has a history that dates back to the early 20th century, when Grado was one of the favourite destinations of the Habsburgs and Central European nobility. Originally known as “Hotel Lido,” the Hotel enjoyed a golden era, even hosting the local Casino.

Completely renovated in 1991, the Grand Hotel Astoria has preserved its elegance, continuing to stand out as a symbol of quality and refinement.
Its philosophy blends tradition and modernity, offering guests a unique experience in a 4-star Hotel located in the historic heart of Grado. Just 400 steps from the early Christian Basilica of Sant’Eufemia and 250 steps from the picturesque calli and campielli of “Gravo Vecio,” the hotel features 124 charming rooms, many with lateral views of the sea and beach. Among these are numerous Junior Suites and a number of elegant Suites.
The rooms, furnished in a classic and elegant style, are quiet and comfortable, equipped to ensure a relaxing stay: private bathrooms, adjustable air conditioning, telephone, minibar, safe, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi. Rooms specifically designed for guests with disabilities are available, as well as some dedicated to travelers with small pets, admitted upon request.

The main restaurant, located on the raised ground floor, welcomes half-board guests with rich buffets of appetizers, homemade pastries and freshly prepared dishes, curated daily by the Chef. The Thalassotherapy and Aesthetic Center on the first floor offers two dedicated areas: one for physiotherapeutic and rehabilitative treatments, and another for Wellness & Beauty. A true oasis of relaxation to rejuvenate body and mind. The adjacent indoor seawater pool offers moments of pure pleasure, thanks to the whirlpool corner and cascading water jets.
