A t the centre of Campo Patriarchi, once a place of meeting and worship for the great metropolitan religious institution in Grado, today we find one of the columns of the four-sided portico which used to be in front of the Basilica of Sant’Eufemia.
On that column, in recent years, the precious Croce Patriarchina was placed, raised on a basement with three wide steps. The four-sided portico, instead, was destroyed centuries ago, while its foundations can be found in the lighter-coloured stone slabs on the church square.
