This route can be covered in its entirety exclusively by bicycle, and is approximately 9 km in length. Starting from the Visitor Centre and going in the direction of the village of Fossalon, at the cemetery it turns left onto a dirt road (the Strada Bissa, the only internal winding road). It thus passes along the dense woods of the Bosco dell'Averto, consisting almost entirely of elms, which offer shelter to the many roe deer and to waterfowl (mallards, gadwalls, coots and moorhens) that are numerous in the waters of the Averto canal, especially in the winter months. After coming to the end of the woods, at the edge of the Nature Reserve, you can continue onward to the provincial road and, turning left twice, follow a ring route along Via Valle that will bring you back to the visitor centre.
