For Sunny Days:

  • Opening of the bathing season. On 01st May at 1 p.m., Inauguration Ceremony at the main entrance to the GIT Beach.

- 13.00 Main entrance of the GIT Beach; parade of the Grado Town Band.

- 13.15 Main entrance of the GIT Beach; official speeches by the Authorities and benediction.

- 13.45 Main entrance to the GIT Beach; flag hoisting and national anthem.

- 14.00 Marine Spa; inauguration of POP ART Exhibition

- 14.45 Bar Isola d'Oro; pre-event music with DJ Set

- 16.00 Bar Isola d'Oro; Disco Music from the 70s and 80s Live Summer 2024 with Joe di Brutto

- 17.45 Bar Isola d'Oro; post music event with DJ Set.

  • Charity Motorbike Rally. Wednesday 01st May, from 09.30 am at the Palasport in Piazzale Azzurri d'Italia, charity motor rally. Exhibition of enduro motorbikes, American cars, rock bands performing live. Public event.
  • 'Like a fairy tale' women's fashion-show in Austro-Hungarian dressesSunday, 5th May, women's fashion-show in Austro-Hungarian dresses (1892-1914)

4 p.m. start from the main entrance of the GIT beach; the parade will then wind its way along the pedestrian avenues of the town centre;

6.00 p.m. stop and themed entertainment in Piazza Biagio Marin (Casa della Musica);

7.30 p.m. Conclusion.

  • 36th Asparagus Festival. From 24th April to 5th May, the eagerly awaited festival dedicated to the white asparagus of Fossalon returns, with special asparagus dishes, shows, sale of local products, Luna Park for the little ones, mothers' cakes and much more!   • Discover Grado on your own with the online Audioguides. Take advantage of the good weather to explore the historical and naturalistic beauties of Grado. Click HERE and follow one of the three suggested itineraries: historical-cultural; sea and wellness; sport, nature and food & wine. These routes will guide you through attractions such as the Basilica of Santa Eufemia, the Nazario Sauro waterfront, the Mandracchio Harbour and the surrounding nature reserves. 
  • Museum of Fishing and Lagoon Civilisation. In December 2023, the new Museum of Fishing and Lagoon Civilisation was opened, which tells the story of the lagoon civilisation. Admission to the museum is free of charge.

- Saturday, Sunday and public holidays (1st, 25th and 26th April, 1st May) from 09:30 to 1:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

- Monday 8 to Thursday 11 April from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (special opening)

- Every Sunday from 31 March to 9 June 2024, free Illustrations (minimum 5 participants) will be organised at 10.30 am, lasting approximately one hour, to discover the museum. Extra Illustrations will also be held on the following days:

- I April 2024 beginning at 10:30 am and 5:00 pm

- 8, 9, 10, 11, 25 and 26 April 2024 beginning at 5:00 pm

- 1st and 18th May 2024 beginning at 5:00 pm.

  • Elisabeth of Austria - Modern Woman' exhibition. At the House of Music, this exhibition offers an intimate exploration of the life of Empress Elisabeth of Austria through personal objects, portraits, and poetic reflections. A journey through history to discover her cultural and feminine legacy, available until 26 May. Free admission. OPENING HOURS:

  • Outdoor Activities. For sports lovers, Grado offers several options such golf, SUP and kitesurfing. As regards the latter sport, Kite Life FVG organises, from 15 April to 31 May 2024, from Monday to Friday, the Kite Camp Full Immersion, specifically for families and groups. This course will take place in one of the ideal spots to learn kitesurfing, thanks to the shallow sandy waters and constant spring winds, which offer safety and fun. 
  • Bicycle excursions: On fine spring days explore the surroundings of Grado by bike, following the cycle paths that will take you to discover breathtaking landscapes and hidden treasures of the lagoon. Discover the itineraries HERE
  • Exhibition of reproductions of women's clothing from the period 1892-1914. From 30th March to 2nd May, in the windows of the former Cristallo Cinema in Viale Dante Alighieri, 74, it will be possible to admire Adriana Roppa's sartorial creations made for the 'La Signora delle Fiabe' Association, reproducing the women's dresses used by women from 1892 to 1914.
  • Basic mosaic course. At Calle Zanini 7, Grado, from 01st to 04th May, a practical course to learn the basics of this ancient technique. Information:

  • Weekly market. Saturday 04th May, like every Saturday of the year, from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm in Viale Italia, in Città Giardino, weekly market with stalls selling leather goods, clothing, footwear, flowers and plants, hobbies and sports, toys, costume jewellery, and gastronomic stalls selling typical regional products.
  • Shopping. Shopping in Grado is truly a unique experience! Jewellers and artisan workshops, designer home furnishings and brocantage, eyewear, footwear and children's toy shops; nautical items, bookshops, artists' workshops but also refined boutiques with the most prestigious brands and shops with excellent food and wine...   • Excursions to the lagoon and Barbana. To discover the Grado Lagoon you can take a motorboat trip to Porto Buso or go to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the island of Barbana with the "Motoscafisti Gradesi" regular service.
