Tour in 'Pupparin', typical lagoon boat

The Consorzio Grado Turismo in collaboration with the Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Grado Voga in 2023 proposes a new and exclusive experience: a tour in a "Pupparin" (the typical boat of the lagoon, 10 metres long and asymmetrical like a gondola), with a demonstration of traditional rowing. During the short itinerary, participants will be able to watch the rowers demonstrate the typical "alla gradese" rowing technique, that is, rowing standing up.
PROGRAMME: Meeting and departure point at Riva Scaramuzza (near the bridge leading to the Isola della Schiusa). Route up to the middle of the canal in the direction of Barbana and back; duration approx. 20 minutes + embarking and disembarking. Two people may participate in the tour at a time.
DEPARTURE TIMES: 17.00; 17.30; 18.00; 18.30; 19.00;
Minimum 6, Max 10 people.

In case of bad weather the excursion will be cancelled.
Reservations must be made by 12 noon on Wednesday/Friday.
Please arrive in good physical and mental condition, with appropriate clothing and equipment for the tour. If you have any doubts, check with the organisation before the day of the tour.
For the activities organized by the Consorzio Grado Turismo the reservation is COMPULSORY and must be made by 12 noon of the day before the excursion online, by email (experience@grado.it) or by phone + 39 0431 80383, providing NAME, SURNAME, RESIDENCE EMAIL ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER.
During the activities, photos and videos may be taken; if you do not wish to be filmed, please let us know before starting the activity and fill out the consent form attached below. The artist Manuela de Pregi opened her exhibition of paintings and ceramics in April 2023, which will be open until mid-September 2023 at the gallery in Viale Dante Alighieri 14 in Grado.
Manuela de Pregi, aka MdP, is Gorizia by birth but Milanese by adoption, in fact she lives and works in Milan. She has travelled the world, for work and pleasure, and has often drawn inspiration for her paintings from travel memories. With her works she evokes emotions, thoughts, reflections.

Art exhibition “Plasticocene”
