Palagym Wellness Island

Keeping fit is important and helps you feel good about yourself. Even on holiday, when time can be used as we like, we can find the ideal space where we can exercise and keep fit.
At the Terme Marine Palagym Wellness Island, there is a weight room equipped for all types of training. Activities are supervised by certified instructors to ensure professionalism and competence in identifying and achieving goals. The instructors are also qualified to conduct PT (personal training) classes, suitable for those who want to get the most out of their session!
The gym is open at the following times:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
- Wednesday and Thursday afternoons: from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Courses and activities at the thermal pool

At the thermal pool we regularly hold group courses in AquaMotricity and AcquaFitness; you can also take part in the following activities:
- Acqua FIT, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08.30 to 09.30; postural training in sea water heated to 31.5° for muscle strengthening and joint reinforcement.
- Acqua HIIT, Tuesdays and Fridays from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm; performance training in water based on rapid sequences, aimed at strengthening muscles and developing special coordination skills.
- Acqua GYM, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 08.30 to 09.30; a muscular fitness session suitable for those who want to have fun training to the rhythm of music.

What did the most popular seaside resort of the Monarchy look like? Where did tourists stay and how did they spend their holidays in Grado at the end of the 19th century? On the occasion of "130 years of Grado", this exhibition wants to retrace the first years of tourism on the "Island of the Sun" (about 1892-1914).

Bike excursion - agricultural and naturalistic tour

Every Saturday from 21th May to 24th September, come and discover the beauty of the Isola del Sole and its surroundings on your bike, thanks to a fun tour that will take you to the farming village of Fossalon.
- 10.00 a.m. Departure from the main entrance of the GIT beach (viale Dante Alighieri n.70)
- Itinerary: after crossing the Parco delle Rose, we will take the cycle-pedestrian path as far as Grado Pineta, and then continue as far as the Valle Cavanata Nature Reserve. From there we will reach the Caneo and the fishing village of Punta Sdobba. In Fossalon, tasting of local products (not included in the price). Return to the starting point.
- 2.00 p.m. conclusion of the tour

On the brightest nights of the year, the "Calici di Stelle" event returns. The event is dedicated to the fragrances and perfumes of the region FVG, and will take tourists and wine lovers on an exciting journey to discover food and wine delicacies.
The event, organised by Movimento Turismo del Vino FVG together with the Municipality of Grado and Pro Loco Grado, returns this year to Grado on the spectacular Diga Nazario Sauro and in the adjacent Palatucci Gardens, on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 August, from 8.00 p.m. to midnight, to discover pleasant combinations of local flavours, culture and art and to taste the real "stars" of the event... the wines of some of the best regional wineries.
Access to the tastings is subject to purchase, also in advance, of a special kit, consisting of a goblet and shoulder strap (€ 30.00), with which you can freely taste the wines on offer, in combination with 5 gastronomic tastings. Thanks to the collaboration activated with the Consorzio Grado Turismo, all guests of consortium member hotels / aparthotels / campsites / villages and real estate agencies, present on the Isola del Sole during the event, will be able to attend the event at a discounted price. In addition, members of Wine for You, the wine club of the Movimento Turismo del Vino FVG, will be entitled to a discount of € 5.00 reserved for them. During the two evenings it will be possible to appreciate the wines of: Bagnarol, Baron Ritter de Záhony, Borgo Conventi, Bucovaz Wines, Ca' Tullio, Cantina Ballaminut, Castello di Rubbia, Conte d'Attimis-Maniago, Conti della Frattina, Elio Vini, Ferrin Paolo, La Magnolia, La Sclusa, Le Due Torri, Marcuzzi Viticola, Parovel Vigneti Oliveti 1898, Pontoni Flavio, Sosol, Torre Rosazza, Vini Brojli, Villa Vasi and Zorzettig. The wines will be presented not only by the producers themselves, but also by wine animator Giovanni Munisso, who will enrich this moment in an engaging manner.
Gastronomic delicacies, prepared expressly for the event by the Pro Loco Grado, will accompany those present on a voyage of discovery of local dishes from the culinary tradition of the lagoon and the territory: cold Mediterranean pasta, crostino with baccalà mantecato, cold cuttlefish salad and arrosto tonnato. On the other hand, at the Il Crudo Itinerante station it will be possible to choose one of these two proposals: breadstick with San Daniele prosciutto crudo or San Daniele prosciutto with frico friabile (gluten free). Also on offer for tasting will be Il Maggese/Novalis bread and Gintonego, the new digestive produced by Riccardo Gaddi, who has combined gin with santonego (sea absinthe) and various lagoon herbs.
There will be no shortage of musical entertainment, real evocative emotions that will accompany the tastings. The energy of music, the harmony of gentle notes and the sweetness of melodic voices will embellish the memories of extraordinary evenings.
